My name is Joy Adams and I am a equity and justice strategist and advocate with over 5 years of experience helping organizations build more inclusive and equitable workplaces. My passion for DEI stems from my own experiences as a Black woman; the daughter of a parent with mental health issues; and the sister of a justice-involved sibling, navigating the capitalistic corporate world we live in.

Throughout my career, I have been involved in the creation of numerous DEI initiatives. Currently, I am a Racial Equity Coordinator, where I design and deliver training workshops that assist partners in prioritizing racial equity in their business plans. My work has helped organizations create more inclusive and equitable workplaces and has resulted in improved employee engagement, retention, and productivity.

Outside work, I am a mommy to my beautiful baby girl, So’lei! I also garden, do yoga, travel and pretty much anything else I can get my hands on that is fun!
